MetMalaysia issues a thunderstorm, heavy rain and strong wind warning for Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and six states until 3 pm today
KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm, heavy rain and strong wind warning for Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and six other states.
The warning is in effect until 3 pm today.
The affected states include Pahang, covering Cameron Highlands, Bentong, Temerloh, Bera and Rompin. Selangor is also affected, involving Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Klang, Gombak, Petaling, Kuala Langat, Hulu Langat and Sepang.
The same warning was issued for Negeri Sembilan and Melaka. Several districts in Johor are also affected, including Tangkak, Segamat, Muar, Mersing and Kota Tinggi.
In Sarawak, similar conditions are expected in Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman (Lubok Antu) and Kapit (Song and Kapit).
