LABUAN: Labuan Chinese Chamber of Commerce Chairman Datuk Wong Kii Yii has hit out at the Labuan Water Department for its couldn’t care less (tidak apa) attitude to complaints of a serious water pipe leakage for weeks.
He said the underground waterpipe at Kampong Sungai Bangat had been leaking so badly it has degraded the road into a soggy condition and affecting houses fronting the section.
“We have more than once altercated the department but sadly no action had been taken. In Labuan, it is often that many houses and premises experienced dry taps or low water pressure and here we are ignoring a leaking pipe.”
