A TikTok creator accused of murdering his wife and her friend told a court he “snapped” and he was “shooting and couldn’t stop” as he took the stand on Wednesday, 22 May.

Ali Abulaban is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of Ana Abulaban, and Rayburn Barron on 21 October 2021 at the East Village apartment the married couple shared.

He told the court: “When I saw that it was him, I couldn’t take it. I couldn’t take the f***ing betrayal.”

He said he “snapped”, adding: “Next thing I’m shooting and I can’t stop.”

Ali has pleaded not guilty.
