Kota Kinabalu: The Majlis Datuk-Datuk Negeri Sabah (MDNS) voiced grave concern over the sharp rise in voters in Sabah to a whopping 574,120 or 53.9 per cent more voters than the 14th General Election (GE14) in 2018.
The increase happened 10 months after Parliament had approved the motion last December to enable 18-year-olds to vote, with a fact that 16,000 Indians not born in Malaysia are reported to be registered in Kudat region as voters who are likely possessing MyKads indicating that they are from Sabah, said its President Datuk Claudius Roman.
