For Singapore’s 60th National Day (SG60), Tiong Bahru Bakery (TBB) collaborates with iconic heritage hawker centre Lau Pa Sat for a limited-time menu filled with nostalgic local flavours.
The SG60 menu will be available for a month-long period from August 1 to 31, 2025, at all Tiong Bahru Bakery outlets islandwide.
Five pastries complete the TBB x Lau Pa Sat SG60 menu. They are Satay White Chocolate Kouign Amann, Satay Beef Croissant, Nasi Sambal Danish, Milo Dinosaur Shio Pan, and Teh C Shio Pan.
Tiong Bahru Bakery approached this capsule menu by applying French baking techniques and bold local twists. The collaboration between TBB and Lau Pa Sat is anchored by the development of a special satay base sauce, which was then adapted by TBB’s R&D team for both sweet and savoury pastry creations.
Why Satay? Because it pays homage to the classic street-style versions found at Lau Pa Sat’s iconic Satay Street. The collaboration rendition is adapted to complement the collection’s sweet-savoury creations.
Taste-wise, it is a rich, peanut-forward sauce with a warm, aromatic spice profile, balanced by a gentle sweetness and a hint of smokiness.
Details of the pastries on Tiong Bahru Bakery x Lau Pa Sat SG60 limited-time menu
Satay White Chocolate Kouign Amann

Tiong Bahru Bakery’s signature viennoisserie is glazed with the jointly developed Lau Pa Sat satay sauce, finished with white chocolate chip toppings.
Satay Beef Croissant

The hearty and flavourful bite is filled with tenderised slow-cooked beef cubes generously dressed in Lau Pa Sat satay sauce, and adorned with pickled cucumber and carrots.
Nasi Sambal Danish

This layered viennoisserie is filled with fragrant coconut rice and mornay sauce, topped with an egg baked in the pastry. It is finished with Lau Pa Sat’s specially concocted savoury sambal, toasted coconut, and shredded curry leaves.
Milo Dinosaur Shio Pan

Malt chocolate fans can indulge in this French butter-infused Shio Pan bun, baked to perfection with a crunchy, golden crust and filled with rich, Milo-flavoured cream.
Teh C Shio Pan

TBB’s French butter Shio Pan will be filled with a fragrant, tea-infused, lightly sweetened cream, inspired by Singapore’s favourite tea break classic.
The five pastries on the TBB x Lau Pa Sat SG60 limited-time menu will be available from 1 to 31 August 2025 at all TBB outlets and select delivery platforms.
Shio Pans will be available only at these selected outlets: Centrepoint, Foothills (Fort Canning), Plaza Singapura, Raffles City and VivoCity. Prices for the pastries will range from S$5 (RM21.08) to S$12 (RM50.60).
TBB x CMCR SG60 Sip & Stroll
Also for the SG60 celebrations, Tiong Bahru Bakery and sister brand Common Man Coffee Roasters (CMCR) will host a café-hopping trail, allowing visitors to rediscover Singapore.
This TBB x CMCR SG60 Sip & Stroll event invites diners to obtain a Sip & Stroll map at all TBB and CMCR outlets and collect stamps at each stop, from 1 August. Most of the featured stops are TBB cafés near Singapore’s most iconic landmarks, such as St. Andrew’s Cathedral, Fort Siloso, and Geylang Serai Market, turning every coffee break into a mini cultural adventure.
After collecting five unique stamps, a reward of six S$10 (RM42.16) vouchers can be redeemed at any TBB and CMCR outlet will be given to successful participants. Each visit also comes with a complimentary coffee with a minimum $6 (RM25.30) spend – a nostalgic nod to the old-school loyalty card, refreshed for today’s café culture.
