TNG Digital Sdn. Bhd. (TNG Digital), the operator of TNG eWallet, has introduced an upgraded QR scanning feature that goes beyond payments. With the new update, users can now scan menus, forms, tickets, and other non-payment QR codes directly within the TNG eWallet app.

The enhancement removes the need for separate QR scanning apps, making it quicker and more convenient to manage daily activities with just one platform.

Connecting Everyday Life

Alan Ni, Chief Executive Officer of TNG Digital, said QR codes are now part of daily routines in Malaysia, from dining and shopping to travel and entertainment.

“By enabling our users to scan any QR code, anytime and anywhere, TNG eWallet is not just making payments easier, we are making everyday life connected and convenient,” he said. “It may seem like a small step, but its impact is significant. One app that helps Malaysians do more in their day-to-day lives.”

Part of a Wider Digital Ecosystem

The new QR capability complements TNG eWallet’s existing financial and lifestyle services. The platform already supports e-commerce, bill payments, investments, insurance, and international remittance.

Launch Campaign for Users

To mark the launch, TNG eWallet has introduced a promotional campaign where users stand a chance to win eWallet credit or reload PINs. Malaysians can participate by scanning non-payment QR codes or by sharing their experiences on social media with the hashtag #SatuAppSemuaQR. Terms and conditions apply.

With this update, TNG eWallet extends its role beyond payments, allowing users to handle both financial transactions and everyday tasks within one app. From groceries and bills to travel and information access, the platform is designed to offer greater convenience for users across Malaysia.
