Manchester United are ready to try again for Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen in January.
United plan to make their move after Real Madrid failed to land the Dane during the summer, says the Daily Mail.
This has given the Old Trafford club hope they can bring in Eriksen, who has admitted his desire for a new challenge away from north London.
Eriksen's contract expires at the end of the season and he would be happy to leave Spurs in January to ensure they get a fee for him.
United, meanwhile, are keen to sign a creative spark after struggling to overcome Wolves, Crystal Palace and Southampton.
