For many of us, Linkin Park remains fresh in our minds, and we still play their music up to this day, even after the passing away of Chester Bennington.
Chester Bennington was always outspoken about mental illness, and it was shocking and devastating for many to receive the news of his passing in 2017.
To pay homage to the dearly missed legend, a tribute concert for the band will be held in September in KL, announced Mediaberg.
“This September, we’re coming together to celebrate the legacy of Chester and the incredible music of Linkin Park with a tribute concert like no other. This show is for the fans, from the fans.”
“It’s our way of honouring the voice that shaped a generation and the band that united us all,” they continued.
Many Malaysians have also seen the billboard near the Bukit Bintang crosswalk and were excited as they thought the remaining band members were coming.
However, this tribute concert will be performed by a tribute band singing Linkin Park’s iconic discography.
It is unknown exactly when this concert will occur in September, so to receive updates, you should follow the organiser, Mediaberg, on their social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram).
