Kota Kinabalu: City Hall has plans to set the cleanliness level of food premises toilets as a criterion for renewing business licenses.
Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister, Datuk Abidin Madingkir, said the food premises toilets must meet at least the three-star level, based on the public toilet star rating guide issued by the Local Government and Housing Ministry.
Abidin said this during the Kota Kinabalu City level World Toilet Day celebration at Lintasan Deasoka. The celebration is held annually on Nov 19.
Kota Kinabalu City Hall (KKCH) Mayor Datuk Noorliza Awang Alip and other senior officers were present.
