KUALA TERENGGANU: Umno deputy president Mohamad Hasan has denied a claim by former party stalwart Annuar Musa that two million members had left the party.

Mohamad reminded the former Umno information chief to be careful when making statements about the party although it was within his right to do so.

“I don’t know where he got the numbers from (but) I can also claim that there are two million people who joined Umno.

“The people can decide for themselves (what to believe),” he told reporters after an event organised by Terengganu Umno here last night.
