Two years after Kevin Hart hosted The Roast of Tom Brady, the NFL icon was able to reap his revenge.
The Roast of Kevin Hart aired live on Netflix Sunday. Hosted by comedian Shane Gillis, the lineup of stars taking aim at Hart included Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Pete Davidson, Chelsea Handler, Lizzo, Regina Hall and more.
However, the Jumanji star was surprised by Brady, who interrupted him on stage and asked, “Jesus, do you ever shut the f*** up?”
“All right, this won’t take long, because, as you guys know, I’m a busy man,” Brady continued.
“But I do have a few words for you before I return to my affairs in Las Vegas.” Brady is a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders NFL team and the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces.
“Oh, wait, I’m talking about affairs in Las Vegas. Was that off? Not supposed to talk about affairs in Vegas? I think I broke another rule,” he said. “F*** it. I talked about it.”
In 2017, Hart became embroiled in a public cheating scandal after footage of him with model Montia Sabbag in Las Vegas was allegedly used in an extortion attempt. The comedian later issued a public apology to his wife, Eniko Hart — who was pregnant at the time of the affair — admitting he had made a “bad error in judgment.”
She and Hart reconciled and had a second child together in 2020. Eniko was also in the audience Sunday night.
Brady’s joke comes after Hart hosted The Roast of Tom Brady in 2024, which saw numerous jokes about Brady’s divorce from Gisele Bündchen and her relationship with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.
Referencing Brady leaving coach Bill Belichick, Hart joked at the time: “You know who else f***ed their coach? Gisele.”
Hart also joked that Bündchen had given Brady an ultimatum to retire from football, saying: “When you got a chance to go 8-9 and all it’ll cost you is your wife and kids, you gotta do what you gotta do.”
A year after the roast, Brady spoke about his regret over the way the jokes affected his children.
Brady and Bündchen were married for 13 years before their divorce in October 2022 and share two children: Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13.
“They’re protective of their mom, their dad, of everybody. You don’t mind yourself hurting, you don’t want to see your parents hurt, you don’t want to see your kids hurt,” Brady said on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast.
“There’s some things as a parent you f*** up and you don’t realize until after,” Brady said. “They were just like, ‘Why did you do that?’”
Bündchen married Valente in a private ceremony in December, 2025, in Surfside, Florida. The couple welcomed their first child together in February earlier that year.
