Manchester United have been dealt a blow to their transfer plans this summer.

The Red Devils have reportedly lost transfer fixer Tom Keane, who worked for the club this past summer.

The Athletic states that Keane, who was only appointed temporarily to replace Matt Judge in June, has turned down a permanent deal to work for law firm Brandsmiths.

Keane worked to negotiate contracts to bring in the likes of Casemiro and Antony.

While he may be a miss, United do have ample time to secure a replacement before the transfer window opens.

The Red Devils may even be under new ownership by then, given the Glazer family are looking to sell the club.
