AC Milan star Sandro Tonali's agent has suggested his client could be closing in on a Premier League move.
The defensive midfielder is set to sign for Newcastle United, with Newcastle's sporting director Dan Ashworth and Toon head of recruitment Steve Nickson both in Italy for talks.
Per Chronicle Live, Newcastle have agreed terms with Milan and Tonali over the transfer.
Tonali's agent was seen by reporters leaving a fancy hotel in Milan, the Palazzo Parigi.
He was having talks with Newcastle's representatives and told reporters we're leaving" as he walked off.
A medical will take place to ensure Tonali is fully fit and ready to link up with his teammates for next season.
