The Taman Melawati-based Oh! Fish and Chips aren’t kidding about its signature meal being sea-riously good. Even the skin-on fries are freshly cut and prepared daily using Russet potatoes. They include a small tub of tartar sauce and a lemon slice. You can also request an extra tartar or chipotle sauce for a fraction of the price. Other menu options include New Zealand Ocean Perch Fish and Chips, Fillet-o-Fish Burger and Chicken Tenders.

Consider adding smoked duck and telur mata (sunny-side-up egg) for an extra succulent taste. If you prefer a more conventional char kuey teow, there’s Chixteow which uses chicken eggs.
