Federico Bernardeschi admits he spoke to Napoli before signing for Toronto FC.
Bernardeschi confirmed he received an approach from Napoli: “There was interest, it went on for a while, but then I had other things on my mind."
The 28-year-old struggled to find his role at Juventus.
“I was always very open to playing in different positions, so that penalised me. I don't have any regrets, I had 30-35 appearances on average per year and I earned my keep."
