
LABUAN: The Total X Inara team from Sabah emerged as the champions of the 7-a-side Open Football Tournament for the Simsudin Sidek Cup, which took place at Padang Dataran here last Sunday.
Total X Inara defeated NSY Team 2-1 in an exciting final.
AdvertisementNSY Team finished as the runners-up, while the KRT Bambu and Brotherhood B teams shared third place.
As the champions, Total X Inara took home RM2,000 in cash along with the trophy, while runners-up NSY Team received RM1,000 in cash.

A total of 53 teams from Labuan and beyond participated in the two-days tournament, which was organised by the Labuan Population Delegation Council (MPPWPL) and Victorian United Football Club (VUFC) in collaboration with Labuan Corporation and Novedeep, in conjunction with the 2025 Federal Territory Day.

Also present were VUFC President, Roslan Kario and national football legend Datuk Hassan Sani.
