The Brazil international is set to undergo a medical in his homeland.
The Daily Mail says Spurs are expected to commit to an initial package in the region of £50million, with a further £10m in add-ons bringing the total outlay to around £60m.
Tottenham initially had a £40m bid rejected, but have since improved their offer by another £10m, which was deemed as more acceptable to help talks progress.
Spurs managed to see off competition yesterday, with an unnamed Premier League rival making an offer.
Richarlison will become Tottenham's fourth summer signing after already landing the likes of Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster and Yves Bissouma.
