Tottenham boss Antonio Conte says he wants success in Europe.
Spurs meet Olympique Marseille in their opening Champions League group game.
Conte said, “I think success in Europe with a trophy is important for every manager.
“Two years ago with Inter Milan we lost the final of the Europa League, but for sure in my heart, in my mind, in my ambition, there is the will to have success in Europe."
Asked what his expectations are for Tottenham in the Champions League this season, he added: “Today we are holding a Champions League press conference for what we did last season.
“Last season we did a fantastic job with the club, with the players, and honestly it was difficult.
“Through hard work, we got this achievement. Now, we have to enjoy playing in this important competition in Europe.
“We want to play and try to do our best, we have to play with ambition and great desire and will.
“I know very well this competition is really difficult, it's the most difficult in the world, but at the same time it is a great opportunity for us to show that we are going in the right way, that we are doing a step forward."
