Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou admits they fighting Aston Villa for the final Champions League place.

Spurs are two points behind fourth place Villa.

Postecoglou said: "The position and points tally would suggest that.

"But as I said many times, it's not something that is at the forefront of my mind. What is important to me is how we are playing and to finish the season strongly - wherever that takes us that takes us.

"I'm not looking at other clubs' results on the weekend to see whether we can get into fourth position. I just don't think that is where we are as a team. We have to focus on ourselves and if we finish fourth or whatever then great.

"We are getting to the latter part of the season now - we have eight games to go and Villa have got seven. Everyone is fighting for something - it's a good time of the year to be involved."
