Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou insists he'd never spend 100m on a single player.
Postecoglou, however, says he doesn't expect to have the "luxury" of having such a transfer budget.
He told Reuters: "I don't think we are in a position where we can spend over 100m on a player.
"That's not the case here at the club, and I don't think it ever will be. Our competitors spend large sums, regardless of their situation. I've always felt it's about how you buy, not how much you buy for.
"If I was in the luxury situation of having 100 million pounds, I would rather have two players."
