Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has opened up about the club's hiring of Johan Lange.
Spurs have brought in Lange as their new technical director, while he will work with chairman Daniel Levy and Postecoglou.
The Australian, who had been adamant about the club's need to sign new players in the summer, is looking forward to a collaboration.
He told reporters during a press conference: I've had a good couple of chats with Johan now since he's been appointed. I think it is fair to say it is a position we needed to fill and with all big football clubs, they become such an important part of the function knowing that for the most part that with recruitment these days there aren't too many hidden gems out there.
Everyone knows what's out there and having people who are really adept and qualified in seeking out the ones who will be a good fit for us is really important.
That is Johan's brief and I'm looking forward to him getting started. Obviously we've got the January window not too far around the corner so I am sure he will be keen to get involved as well."
