Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou has confirmed he would like to sign another defender.
Spurs have completed the big money purchase of Micky van de Ven from Wolfsburg.
Having committed 43 million including add-ons to secure the centre half, Postecoglou is still not satisfied.
He told reporters about other signings: Yeah potentially [signing another central defender].
Again we've got to make sure that we keep the squad manageable and see what happens with outgoings, but yeah the potential is there to bring in one more."
Spurs are still being linked with a budget move for last season's loan signing Clement Lenglet from Barcelona.
