Tottenham caretaker boss Ryan Mason says he's on the outer of the club's search for a new manager.
Chairman Daniel Levy is expected to launch the interview process in the coming days.
Mason said today: "Naturally, when there is uncertainty, there are going to be names [mentioned]. That is part of football. But none of my energy or attention is going into outside noise or speculation.
"Within these walls we are together, we are working together and we have got a common goal, which is trying to get as many results as possible until the end of the season.
"I am sure in the summer things will happen, but at the moment that is pretty irrelevant."
He added: "I think that's a process. It takes time. What we probably can see from the first two performances is we've got a group that are working together. Sometimes you don't get the results. We need to create a feeling where everyone is aligned, the club, the players and the fans."
