Tottenham are pushing to sign Roma attacker Nicolo Zaniolo.
Il Gazzetta dello Sport says Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto held talks with Spurs over Zaniolo's sale during his London visit this week.
Pinto was overseeing the sale of Justin Kluivert to Fulham and sounding out interest for Amadou Diawara.
The Roma chief also met with Spurs counterpart Fabio Paratici to discuss Zaniolo's situation.
Spurs plan an opening offer next week, by including one from Japhet Tanganga, Tanguy Ndombelé, Sergio Reguilon and Giovani Lo Celso, in their proposal.
