Mauricio Pochettino is favoured at Tottenham ahead of former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel should Antonio Conte be replaced.
Conte's deal with Spurs runs out in June and his future remains up in the air as he has yet to show signs he will pen a new deal.
And the North Londoners have no option but to explore potential replacements.
Thomas Tuchel is an obvious candidate as he is still a free agent after being sacked by Chelsea in September.
According to CBS reporter Ben Jacobs, however, Tuchel is not the priority for the club's hierarchy.
In fact, Tottenham will consider other candidates including Pochettino ahead of the German tactician if they need a new manager.
