Tottenham defender Eric Dier is on track to land a long-term Bayern Munich deal.
Off contract from Spurs in June, Dier's loan with Bayern includes a permanent option should he complete a set number of appearances - believed to be three-to-five.
He made his debut last week and will start today against Augsburg.
Just yesterday, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel said: He is now being thrown into the deep end.
"We've had a crash course, which is sometimes the best thing. He is very attentive and clear in everything he does."
