Tottenham have dropped Julian Nagelsmann as a candidate for their manager's job.
The former Bayern Munich coach has been considered at Spurs after last month's departure of Antonio Conte.
However, BBC Sport says there have been no talks and Spurs are not considering him for the role.
Tottenham have moved to brief media sources to deny claims Nagelsmann is close to being appointed new manager.
Instead, Spurs wish to name a new director of football first before hiring a new manager.
