Tottenham are in advanced talks over a new contract with Pape Matar Sarr.
The midfielder, 21, is on the brink of reaching agreement over an improved deal, says the Athletic.
Sarr has been impressive under manager Ange Postecoglou this season.
The youngster was forced off with an apparent hamstring injury in victory against Bournemouth on Sunday, but has since taken to social media to ease concerns.
Ahead of joining Senegal's AFCON squad, he posted: "More fear than harm, see you at CAN [AFCON]!"
