Tottenham are in talks with Aston Villa football chief Johan Lange.
Spurs are seeking a new football director after the suspension and eventual departure of Fabio Paratici last season.
The Athletic says Tottenham are interested in signing Lange and have already held talks with the Dane.
Paratici left Tottenham in April this year, after receiving a lengthy FIFA ban following financial irregularities during his time at Juventus.
Lange, currently Villa's global director, has previously worked with clubs such as FC Copenhagen, Lyngby BK and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
