Tottenham know the asking price for Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie.
The Sun says Ecuador international Hincapie would fit perfectly into manager Antonio Conte's plans as he is a left-sided centre-back.
Hincapie also has experience of playing at left-back, with the 20-year-old having produced some encouraging performances for Leverkusen.
Tottenham have already been heavily active in the transfer window, securing the signings of Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster.
Ben Davies has frequently been deployed as the left-sided centre-back under Conte, but Hincapie would provide competition for that position.
Conte was looking to bring in Alessandro Bastoni but was unable to complete a deal for the defender, who elected to remain at Inter Milan.
Instead, he will move for Hincape, who carries a £34m asking price.
