Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has thrown a lifeline to a club legend this week.
The Australian head coach has included veteran goalkeeper Hugo Lloris in Tottenham Hotspur's 25-man squad for the Premier League.
Lloris, who failed to secure a move away from the club, may now fight for his place until January.
Guglielmo Vicario is still the club's no.1 under Postecoglou and that will not change.
However, former club captain Lloris will get every chance to show his quality.
The club are hoping he can have a good few months at Spurs, before moving on in January.
