Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emil Hojbjerg admits Rodrigo Bentancur's injury is a heavy blow.
The Uruguay international is out for the rest of the season after breaking down last week with an ACL.
Hojbjerg said: "It hurts.
"You get the feeling that he makes you better when you play next to him, and it's a mutual feeling.
"We have both added something offensive to our game, which is not good.
"We have to deal with it. I've told him personally how good I think he is, but now it's time to come back stronger and develop.
"It is not easy. There will be difficult moments, but he is a strong and wise person who finds a way."
