Tottenham remain in the hunt for Udinese wing-back Destiny Udogie.

Left-back Udogie, 19, had his breakthrough last season. He scored five goals and produced four assists in 35 games in Serie A.

Spurs made enquiries for the youngster towards the end of last season and remain keen.

That's according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who is reporting: "Tottenham have opened talks to sign Udinese left back Destiny Udogie on permanent deal with potential loan back for this season. Negotiations at early stages now.

"There's still no full agreement as there are many clubs interested in Udogie."

Udogie has a contract with Udinese that runs until the summer of 2026.
