Spurs see the left-back as a potential replacement for Sergio Reguilon, who is being linked with a return to Spain.
The 19 year-old Italian was a regular for the Zebrette last season and impressed watching Spurs scouts.
He would likely arrive as cover for Ben Davies, with Reguilon to be moved on.
