Tottenham have reached an agreement with Empoli for goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.
Sky Sports says a verbal agreement was struck during talks on Wednesday and a formal offer will now follow.
Spurs are due to sign Vicario for a fee of 20m.
The 26 year-old is also a top target for Inter Milan, which see him as a potential replacement for Andre Onana.
Vicario is yet to be capped, but was part of Italy's Nations League finals squad this past week.
