Tottenham signing Guglielmo Vicario has posted an emotional farewell to Empoli and their fans.
The 26 year-old goalkeeper completed his move to Spurs on Tuesday.
Vicario posted to social media:
"Okay, I admit it, I don't know where to begin. Emotions, many, many. Gratitude, many, many. Work, much, never too much. I think I have to start from here, from these three concepts, to arrive at telling you with heart in hand a THANK YOU that will never be big enough to satisfy all the love you have transmitted to me in these two years EMPOLI you have made me feel part of a small but enormous family with human values that enter deeply inside you and they mark you for life.
"Indelible. Like these last two years HISTORIC. A blue heart, mine, which will never stop beating and will support this team, this people even from afar I promise you, forever. It will be a indissoluble bond, ours.
