Southampton's misfortune could be the gain of Tottenham and other Premier League clubs.
The Saints are relegated from the Premier League with two games remaining in the season.
Now the club are preparing for an exodus, with the likes of James Ward-Prowse, Gavin Bazunu, Romeo Lavia, and other talents set to leave.
Per The Mail, midfielder and club captain Ward-Prowse is a Tottenham target, along with Bazunu.
The Saints turned down 25 million from Villa a year ago for Ward-Prowse, but may now have to accept a lower offer.
While none of the Saints' most promising players have publicly asked for a move as yet, they are understood to want to leave for top flight clubs.
