Tottenham are currently assessing Lille forward Jonathan David as a possible Harry Kane replacement.

The North London club do not want to lose Kane under any circumstances this summer.

Per journalist Rudy Galetti, they are still preparing for the worst case scenario, which sees Kane move on this summer.

Bayern Munich and Manchester United are both on the radar of Kane, but have not come close to matching Spurs' asking price.

The source adds that if Kane were to leave, Canadian forward David is the ideal replacement.

The striker has scored 58 goals in 136 appearances during his career with Lille in Ligue 1.
