Tottenham winger Dejan Kulusevski has admitted that Rodrigo Bentancur's mentality has left him stunned.
Bentancur, who also plays for Uruguay, learned he would miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
However, Kulusevski says his teammate has remained in positive spirits and has not let the news get to him.
Rodrigo is so strong on the pitch but outside of the pitch he's unbelievable," Kulusevski told football.london.
"I'm shocked how positive he can be after news like that. He will come back strong and I wish him a strong recovery. We miss him on the pitch."
He is a leader on the pitch and outside the pitch. We are so sorry for the team but first of all we are sorry for him. It's not good at all," added Kulusevski.
"We are going to face this bad period, we are going to support him. When he will be back it will be so good to play again with him."
