SABAH FC’s upcoming league matches will be a big test for the players as they will be facing formidable teams starting with the Selangor FC away tie at the MBPJ Stadium this Thursday (Feb 27).
The Red Giants may not be as strong as Johor Darul Ta’zim FC in recent years, but they are still a very tough opponent.
They are doing superbly well this season and are sitting second in the league. They had also just clinched the MFL Challenge Cup by beating PDRM FC in the final 7-2 on aggregate over two-leg.
Without sounding too pessimistic, but with their home ground advantage, it will be very difficult for Sabah FC to overcome them and get a positive result. I am also certain that Selangor FC will be oozing with confidence to take on us especially with our current form.
