
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah could learn from Sarawak, Melaka and Penang on re-structuring potential tourism spots for better appeal.
Dominic Buandi, a local senior tourist guide, said for instance, Kota Kinabalu waterfront can learn how Kuching City re-designed its riverfront to make it more lively and tourist-friendly.
“From Jesselton Point to Hyatt all the way to Medan Selera or even to Imago shopping mall, the waterfront walkway should have more attractive venues so people can walk leisurely, shop and eat along the way, just like at Kuching waterfront.
