SHAH ALAM, Dec 19 — Tourism Selangor will set the stage for the highly anticipated Visit Selangor Year 2025 campaign with a three-day festival at Setia City Park from December 20.
Music enthusiasts can look forward to a concert by rock icon Datuk Amy Search, local artists Ameng Spring and Zubir Khan, and Indonesian sensation Cakra Khan on December 21.
A highlight of the event will be Aizat Amdan’s live debut of the campaign’s official theme song on the same day, which will be accompanied by a flash mob.
The festival will also unveil the Visit Selangor Year 2025’s mascot, Spark the Firefly, alongside the launch of its digital platform, visitselangor2025.my.
Attendees will get to enjoy the Love Food Festival, featuring 70 vendors offering 60 of Selangor’s viral culinary favourites, showcasing the state’s rich and diverse food culture.
Visitors can also enjoy a variety of activities, including a tourism exhibition, lucky draws, and a pound workout session.
The event on Saturday will conclude with a fireworks display.
The free-admission festival serves as the curtain-raiser for the year-long festivities planned for Visit Selangor Year 2025, which aims to attract domestic and foreign visitors to the state.
