- The victim was attacked by a group of three men following an argument at the Hotel Casa Fuster on Monday lunchtime.
- Emergency services rushed the victim to hospital, where he remains in a serious but non-life-threatening condition.
- The attack is the latest in a series of knife incidents in Barcelona, following five other stabbings reported earlier this month.
- Despite recent events, official figures show knife-related offences in the city fell by 20.9 per cent in the first half of the year.
