TELEPHILIPPINES Incorporated, also known as TP in the Philippines or TP Philippines (formerly Teleperformance), is expanding its operations with its 29th site set to open in Pasay City this September, the company said on Friday.
TP said the facility, to be located at Four E-Com Center Building complex SM Mall of Asia, was expected to create more than 1,000 job opportunities for Filipinos.
Opening of the site was approved by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) via the signing of a supplemental agreement on June 29, with PEZA Director General Tereso Panga and TP Philippines CEO Rahul Jolly leading the signatories.
"TP's newest expansion reflects our continued confidence in Filipino talent and the country’s position as a global leader in customer experience and digital business services," Jolly said.
"This isn't just about expanding capacity; it is an investment in modern, digital-first infrastructure,” he added.
The company noted that its 29th location would augment its initial site in Pasay, located at the MAAX Building also within the SM Mall of Asia complex, which hosts more than 5,000 employees.
Panga, meanwhile, noted that TP’s expansion further strengthened the Philippines’ position as a leading global hub for IT-BPM and digital services.
“As TP broadens its presence across the country, particularly in emerging regional IT hubs, PEZA remains fully committed to supporting their future growth plans through investor-friendly policies, infrastructure development, and close collaboration with industry stakeholders,” he added.
Established in 1996, TP has over 47,000 employees and operates 28 sites in the country.
