A tractor-trailer ignored a stop sign and collided with a semi-truck at an Iowa intersection on Monday (27 July).
Dashcam footage shows the moment the two vehicles collided on HWY 3 and W Ave.
Fayette County Sheriff’s Office said that the driver of the Dodge Ram, Ernesto Guardado Tejada, 20, failed to obey a stop sign and yield right of way.
The force added that, following the collision, the vehicles struck a Chevy Impala at a stop sign. All three vehicles are "a total loss”, it added.
Three people were taken to a local hospital with injuries as a result of the crash. The incident is under investigation, authorities said.
