  • The affected Trader Joe's products include Chicken Fried Rice, Vegetable Fried Rice, Japanese Style Fried Rice and Chicken Su Mui, with specific “Best By” dates.
  • The expanded recall by Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. now covers approximately 33.6 million additional pounds of various chicken and pork fried rice, ramen and shu mai dumpling products.
  • The contamination was traced to carrots, and the recall follows multiple consumer complaints involving glass found in products.
  • Customers who purchased the recalled items can return them to any Trader Joe's store for a full refund.
