Rainy season has brought upon some discomfort, and occasionally, inconvenience, to most Malaysians when needing to carry out their day-to-day activities. However, a few traffic police officers in Johor Bahru have come to make their people’s lives just a tad bit easier.

In a clip posted by Polis Daerah Johor Bahru Utara on Facebook yesterday evening, 5 December, the district police account shared the lengths their officers went through to clear a clocked drain while it was raining. The clog was said to have caused rising water levels on Jalan Johor Bahru-Air Hitam, and thereby traffic congestion as well.

“Traffic police members of the Johor Bahru Utara District Police Headquarters acted swiftly to find the cause of the clog on the road and have taken the initiative to clear the hole of a drain that was clogged,” wrote the district office in the caption of their post.
