
Kota Kinabalu: A 26-year-old man was ordered to enter his defence on a charge of trafficking 69.11gm Syabu.
High Court Judge Datuk Ismail Brahim made the decision on Nazirul Azim Ahmad, after ruling that the prosecution had established a prima facie case against him.
The court set Aug 29 this year for Nazirul’s defence.
Nazirul allegedly trafficked the drug at 11.05pm on March 10, 2020 at the roadside in front of SK Baru-Baru in Tuaran.

Nazirul was ordered remanded further as the charge against him has no provision for bail.
The prosecution had called four witnesses in the hearing.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Rozana Abdul Hadi conducted for the prosecution while counsel Valentino James Tangar defended Nazirul.
