Beach goers in Bachok (Kelantan) became witnesses to a harrowing tragedy as a paragliding activity took a worse turn of events.
Just 100 metres from the shore, a paramotor carrying two people onboard was seen crashing into the sea after it experienced an engine malfunction.
The passenger, believed to be a 60-year-old man, unfortunately passed away as he drowned following the impact.
Videos during and after the incident had circulated on TikTok, which showed moments before the tragedy, including the surviving pilot being brought back safely ashore.
