The lorry was driven by a 31-year-old man, accompanied by a 33-year-old attendant. While the attendant escaped without serious injuries, the driver sustained injuries to his left side and was later sent to Kuala Lipis Hospital for further medical examination.
Superintendent Ismail stated that the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987, which deals with causing death by reckless or dangerous driving. Authorities are working to gather more details about the sequence of events that led to the crash.

Nurshida and Nurulfarhana were dedicated staff members at SK Limau Purut, and their sudden passing has deeply impacted those who knew them. Messages of condolences have started pouring in, reflecting the sorrow and shock felt by the community.
Fatal road accidents remain a pressing concern in Malaysia, with this tragedy serving as a stark reminder of the importance of road safety. Authorities continue to urge motorists to exercise caution while driving and adhere to traffic regulations to prevent further loss of lives.
The families of both victims are reportedly receiving support and assistance during this difficult time. The Lipis district police have called on any witnesses of the accident to come forward with information that could aid in the investigation.
